Legal
End User License Agreement
This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and [operator/school name] ("we," "us") covering your use of the CyberGuard software — the website, its training modules, and any bundled interactive content (including the phishing-awareness game module). It works alongside, and doesn't replace, our Terms of Agreement.
1. License grant
Subject to your compliance with this EULA and our Terms of Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use CyberGuard for your own personal educational purposes, as a student or Admin within an authorized class.
2. Ownership
CyberGuard — including its source code, design, branding, and training modules such as the Unity-based phishing-awareness game — is owned by [operator/school name] or its licensors. This EULA gives you a license to use the software; it doesn't transfer any ownership to you. Lesson files uploaded by an Admin remain the property of whoever created or licensed them.
3. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of CyberGuard's software, other than what your browser needs to display the page.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of CyberGuard, including the training game module.
- Extract, redistribute, resell, or sublicense the software or its content.
- Remove or obscure any branding, attribution, or notices within CyberGuard.
- Use automated tools to scrape lesson content or platform data.
- Use CyberGuard for any commercial purpose without our prior written permission.
4. Updates & availability
We may update, change, or discontinue any part of CyberGuard — including features, lesson formats, or the training modules — at any time, and we don't guarantee the platform will always be available.
5. Third-party components
CyberGuard is built using third-party services and runtimes, including Firebase, Supabase, and the Unity WebGL runtime that powers the training game module. Those components remain subject to their own respective licenses, which this EULA doesn't override.
6. Term & termination
This license is effective until terminated. It ends automatically if you violate this EULA or our Terms of Agreement, or if your account is closed. Upon termination, you must stop using CyberGuard.
7. Disclaimer of warranty
The CyberGuard software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will [operator/school name] be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the CyberGuard software.
9. Compliance with laws
You agree to use CyberGuard in compliance with all applicable local and national laws and regulations that apply to you or your school.
10. Governing law
This EULA is governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
11. Entire agreement
This EULA, together with our Terms of Agreement, is the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the CyberGuard software, and supersedes any prior agreements on the same subject.
